TWICE Embarks on First European Tour; Named in Rolling Stone's 'Best Albums of 2023'
TWICE is making waves as they officially kick off their first European tour, further expanding their global influence.
On September 7th and 8th (local time), TWICE held their solo concert in London as part of their fifth world tour, 'TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE''. This London concert marked the beginning of TWICE's debut European tour, adding significance to their journey. Following the ticket sales, the concert was sold out, leading to the confirmation of additional performances. After a grand start in London, they showcased their stellar performances in Paris on the 11th, solidifying their reputation as a top global girl group.
This tour features songs from their latest album, which achieved their highest ranking on the Billboard 200 at 2nd place. Songs like 'SET ME FREE', 'Alcohol-Free', 'Talk that Talk', the original English track 'The Feels', and 'MOONLIGHT SUNRISE' are part of the setlist, captivating audiences worldwide. Additionally, the group has prepared diverse solo stages, adding richness to the concert experience.
Recently, TWICE's mini-album 'READY TO BE' was the only K-pop girl group album to be featured in Rolling Stone's 'The Best Albums of 2023 So Far'. Rolling Stone praised 'READY TO BE', stating, "It breaks stereotypes and demolishes musical barriers. It's an album that showcases the confidence of TWICE, one of the most notable groups in the K-pop market. Every track captures listeners' ears from the first note."
With their growing reputation in the global music scene, TWICE is expected to further solidify their position through their fifth world tour, which spans 25 cities with 43 performances. The tour includes performances in Berlin on the 13th-14th, Bangkok on the 23rd-24th, Bulacan in the Philippines on the 30th and October 1st, Melbourne on November 4th, Nagoya on December 16th-17th, Jakarta on the 23rd, Fukuoka on the 27th-28th, Mexico City in February 2024 on the 3rd, and São Paulo on the 6th-7th. All eyes are on TWICE as they continue to soar as a world-class artist.
