TWICE Kicks Off Part 2 of 'READY TO BE' World Tour in Singapore with a Bang
TWICE has spectacularly opened the doors to the second part of their fifth world tour in Singapore.
On September 2nd and 3rd (local time), TWICE held their solo concerts in Singapore as part of their 'TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE''. After launching the tour in Seoul's KSPO DOME in Songpa District this April, the group has since performed in cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Osaka, Tokyo, and held 13 shows in 9 locations across North America. With their groundbreaking solo stadium concerts in Osaka's Yanmar Stadium Nagai and Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium, and sold-out shows in Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium and New York's MetLife Stadium, TWICE wrapped up part one of the tour and resumed with their performance in Singapore.
The nine members captivated the audience with their explosive performances and energy on a grand scale stage. Particularly, the solo stages, which have been the highlight of the 'READY TO BE' tour, garnered fervent cheers. Among them, Jihyo's performance of her solo debut song 'Killin' Me Good' and Jeongyeon's cover of Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop the Feeling' were standout moments.
The atmosphere was further elevated with a parade of their hit songs. From their latest title track 'SET ME FREE', which shone at #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, to their English single 'The Feels' that made its way into the Billboard Hot 100, and 'MOONLIGHT SUNRISE', the concert was filled with globally loved tracks. The inclusion of an indispensable title track medley further enhanced the satisfaction of the concertgoers.
Riding on this momentum, TWICE will embark on their debut European tour, performing in London on the 7th and 8th, Paris on the 11th, and Berlin on the 13th and 14th. They are expected to further solidify their global presence by answering the long-awaited calls of international fans with their stellar performances and infectious energy.
Recently, TWICE unveiled the third plan poster for their fifth world tour and announced additional concert locations. They will be adding stadium concerts in four locations: Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on November 4th, Jakarta's International Stadium on December 23rd, Mexico City's Foro Sol on February 3rd, 2024, and São Paulo's Allianz Parque on the 6th. With these additions, TWICE is set to perform in 25 cities worldwide with a total of 42 shows, anticipating to surpass a cumulative audience of one million
