TWICE's Jihyo Dominates Billboard: Enters 9 Charts Including 'Billboard 200' and 'Artist 100'
TWICE's Jihyo's solo debut album 'ZONE' has achieved the 14th spot on the U.S. Billboard main chart, 'Billboard 200'.
According to the official announcement by U.S. Billboard on the 29th, Jihyo's mini-album 'ZONE', released on August 18th, entered the 'Billboard 200' at 14th place and 'Artist 100' at 10th place as of September 2nd (local time). In addition, she successfully charted in a total of nine categories, including Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.), LyricFind Global, World Albums, and World Digital Song Sales.
Previously, Jihyo's mini-album recorded an impressive initial sales (sales within a week of release) of 534,565 copies as of the 24th, according to the album tally site Hanteo Chart. She set a new record for the highest initial sales for a mini-album by a K-pop female solo artist and marked her name as the first half-million seller.
Furthermore, on the 21st, the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, announced that Jihyo's album ranked in the Top 10 for the Top Album Debut Global Chart, Top Album Debut USA Chart (from 2023.08.18 to 2023.08.20), and Top Album Debut UK Chart (from 2023.08.18 to 2023.08.21). Her title track, 'Killin' Me Good', secured the top spot on the Top Song Debut Global Chart (from 2023.08.18 to 2023.08.20).
