RIIZE's Seunghan Apologizes for Personal Life Controversy: 'I Was Careless and Deeply Reflective' [Full Statement]
Seunghan from SM's rookie boy group RIIZE has personally apologized for the controversy surrounding his personal life.
On the 30th, Seunghan posted a lengthy message on RIIZE's official SNS, stating, "I felt the need to address this before facing our fans. First and foremost, I sincerely apologize to all the fans who have been supporting RIIZE."
He added, "At such a crucial time right before our debut, I've caused harm to the team and disappointed our members and company staff due to my personal matters. I was scared and anxious, which is why I couldn't apologize sooner. I deeply regret this."
Continuing, he said, "Without blaming anyone or making excuses, this entire situation arose from my carelessness. I've reflected a lot upon my past actions."
Seunghan emphasized his commitment to RIIZE, stating, "I will prioritize the team 'RIIZE' above all else. Not just on the stage as RIIZE, but in every situation I face, I will act with more caution. I will do my best to ensure that through my actions, both the team and our fans can feel my sincerity." He once again bowed his head in apology.
Recently, photos that appeared to show Seunghan in an intimate moment with a woman were circulated on online communities and SNS, leading to controversy.
Meanwhile, RIIZE, a new 7-member boy group launched by SM Entertainment, is set to make their debut with their first single album 'Get A Guitar' on September 4th.
