Choi Jin Hyuk Cast As Main Lead On Upcoming Comedy Drama 'Zombie Detective'
KBS 2TV's upcoming drama 'Zombie Detective' will be played by the main actor, Choi Jin Hyuk.
Zombie Detective is said to be a survival comedy-drama about a zombie who took up the identity of a detective four years ago and now struggles in the human world. Choi Jin Hyuk confirmed to play the role of a detective agency CEO Kim Moo Young who lost his memory in the past and humbly accepted his fate as a zombie.
To survive, the young zombie hid in the hills and trained himself to live like a human. So this is where his story as Kim Moo Young started as he discovered a corpse without any family and took its identity. Unlike any other film with terrifying zombies, this is a human comedy who is very persuasive, intelligent and has a good build and a heart of gold.
Kim Moo Young has all the attributes of being the perfect human zombie than can able to show his emotions. They released photos of the human side of Kim Moo Young reveals that he is fit for the role.
Meanwhile, Gong Seon Ji (Park Ju Hyun) used to be a writer for an investigative journalism program who will be his partner and expected to solve cases using his investigation skills and abilities to mimic human emotions refreshingly.
The duo will take the viewers in an unexpected, thrilling adventure as they together discover Kim Moo Young's peculiar past. Their chemistry will and them being the unlikely duo will surely provide plenty of laughs throughout the movie.
'Zombie Detective' is scheduled to premiere this year. Taking over the Monday and Tuesday time slot 21:30, previously occupied by "Men are Men," following the romantic comedy of KBS 2TV "To All The Guys Who Loved Me," which is played by Hwang Jung-eum and Yoon Hyun-min.
