BTS Members Sweep U.S. Billboard Charts: Jungkook, J-Hope, Jimin, and V Prove Their Solo Power
Global sensation boy group BTS continues to dominate the music scene.
According to the latest charts released by the U.S. music authority Billboard on August 29 (local time) for the week of September 2nd, Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto)" maintained its top spot on both the 'Global 200' and 'Global Excluding U.S.' charts. With this, Jungkook has held the number one position on both charts for six consecutive weeks, setting a new record for the longest-running #1 by a Korean solo artist.
"Seven" also climbed to the 32nd spot on the main 'Hot 100' chart, marking its sixth consecutive week on the chart, showcasing its unwavering global popularity.
J-Hope's "Jack In The Box" made a re-entry at the 6th spot on the main 'Billboard 200' album chart. Originally released in July 2022 as a 'Weverse Album' available for download on various music platforms and apps, a new physical version titled "Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)" was released on the 18th. With the addition of the new album's sales, "Jack In The Box" made its return to the 'Billboard 200' chart after nearly a year. The album also re-entered the 'World Albums' chart at #1 and secured the 2nd spot on 'Top Rap Albums', 'Top Current Albums', and 'Top Album Sales'.
Jimin's debut solo album "FACE" ranked 12th on the 'World Albums' chart and 75th on the 'Top Current Albums'. The album's title track "Like Crazy" placed 33rd on the 'Global Excluding U.S.' chart and 50th on the 'Global 200'. V's tracks "Love Me Again" and "Rainy Days" from his debut solo album "Layover", which were pre-released on the 11th, ranked 22nd and 39th respectively on the 'Global Excluding U.S.' chart, and 38th and 72nd on the 'Global 200'.
