IU's 15th Anniversary Concert Film Set for September Theater Release!
This year marks the 15th anniversary of artist IU's debut, and to celebrate, her first concert film, "IU Concert: The Golden Hour," is slated for a theater release this coming September.
"IU Concert: The Golden Hour" is IU's debut concert film, commemorating her 15th year in the music industry. The film is a theatrical rendition of her concert, "The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun," which took place last September at the Olympic Main Stadium.
IU, the first Korean female singer to perform at the Olympic Main Stadium, captivated approximately 80,000 spectators over two days, immersing them in a sea of orange-hued emotions. This film will offer fans a chance to relive the concert with hits like "Eight," "Celebrity," "Strawberry Moon," "Through the Night," "You and I", and songs like "Palette" and "Good Day" which are becoming rarer in her recent concert setlists; a total of 25 tracks are included. In addition to the songs, the concert's dazzling stage productions, such as the gigantic "Strawberry Moon" hot air balloon, a grandiose drone show, and fireworks painting the night sky, are all captured in the film. It promises to be an unforgettable experience not just for IU fans but for general audiences as well.
With the announcement of the film's September release, six press stills from "IU Concert: The Golden Hour" further amplify the anticipation. From shots highlighting the beautiful glow of IU's official light stick, 'Uaena Bong,' illuminating the Olympic Main Stadium, to moments of IU connecting with fans during the encore in a variety of outfits and concepts, the stills encapsulate the excitement and warmth of the event. Additionally, scenes featuring the magnificent orchestra, shots of the "Strawberry Moon" hot air balloon, and fireworks taken from drone perspectives promise audiences a series of shining, unforgettable, and deeply moving moments. Coming to theaters this September!
