Hwasa Gears Up for Solo Comeback This September: First Release After Joining PSY's P Nation
Singer Hwasa announces her dazzling solo return.
According to a report by Sports Chosun, Hwasa is set to release a new album and commence her promotional activities in September.
Having recently showcased her talents as the youngest member on the tvN variety show 'Dance Singer Wanderers' and delivering powerful chemistry with her fellow MAMAMOO members at the Jamboree K-pop concert, it's anticipated that Hwasa will dominate the stage with her solo presence this time around.
Her comeback as a solo artist is warmly welcomed by many music fans. Given the tremendous success of her past solo releases like "Twit" in 2019, "Maria" in 2020, and "I'm A Light" in 2021, each gaining massive popularity, it's expected that she will once again deliver unparalleled music and performances.
There's also significant anticipation surrounding her chart performance. Hwasa achieved an all-kill on real-time music charts with her solo debut song "Twit" and secured a triple crown on music shows with "Maria." "I'm A Light" topped the daily charts in China, so it's predicted that she will continue this momentum and set numerous records with her upcoming release.
Of particular interest is the fact that this will be her first release after transferring to PSY's P Nation. Fans are keenly interested in the musical synergy that will emerge from Hwasa's collaboration with PSY.
The two already made headlines in June when they used a performance during the 'Drenched Show' to announce their exclusive contract signing, sparking widespread attention. Given the exceptional performances they've showcased from the beginning, it's expected that Hwasa's new album will deliver another refreshing musical surprise.
