NCT's Taeil Suffers Thigh Fracture in Motorcycle Accident; Halts All Activities, Fans Flood with Support
NCT's Taeil has sustained a fracture due to a traffic accident and has halted all of his scheduled activities.
SM Entertainment, NCT's managing agency, revealed that Taeil encountered the accident in the early hours of the 15th as he was riding his motorcycle back home after wrapping up his schedule in downtown Seoul.
Immediately after the accident, Taeil was transferred to a hospital to undergo detailed examinations and treatments. The examination results confirmed a fracture in his right thigh, requiring surgery as per the medical team's advice.
SM stated, "Currently, Taeil is preparing for surgery and receiving the necessary treatment in the hospital, focusing on recuperation."
Due to the incident, Taeil will be discontinuing all activities for the foreseeable future to concentrate on his treatment and recovery. SM addressed the fans, "We kindly ask for the fans' understanding that Taeil will not be able to participate in the NCT group concert 'NCT NATION: To The World' scheduled for the 26th." The agency added, "We deeply apologize for causing concerns with this sudden news and want to assure everyone that we prioritize our artists' health. We will do our utmost to focus on Taeil's recovery so he can greet the fans in good health once again."
Upon hearing about Taeil's accident, fans have been pouring in with messages full of concern and comfort, expressing sentiments like, "Wishing for a speedy recovery," "It's heartbreaking to hear about the fracture due to the accident, hope he gets the best treatment," "Health comes first," and "It could've been much worse." Fans all over are rallying to support Taeil during this challenging time.
