The '2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree K-Pop Super Live Concert' wrapped up spectacularly, driven by the passion of K-Pop stars.

On the afternoon of August 11, the '2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree K-Pop Super Live Concert' (informally known as the Jamboree K-Pop Concert) took place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Initially set to be held on the 6th at the Saemangeum campsite in Jeonbuk Buan, the event was postponed just hours prior due to adverse weather conditions. Following heated debates regarding the new venue, it was finally decided to be held at the Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul on the 11th.

The change in schedule and the adverse weather brought about by a typhoon led to confusion and heightened concerns regarding the 'Jamboree K-Pop Concert'. However, through collective efforts, the event proceeded without a hitch.

While BTS couldn't physically attend, HYBE provided a special treat by distributing BTS photocard sets worth 800 million won, gifting 43,000 sets to all the attending scouts in commemoration of their visit to Korea.

Despite the pouring rain, artists including NU'EST, IVE, NCT DREAM, ITZY, MAMAMOO, THE BOYZ, Shownu & Hyungwon, fromis_9, Zerobaseone, Kang Daniel, Kwon Eun Bi, Jo Yu Ri, P1Harmony, The Newsix, ATBO, Psyckers, HolyBang, and Liberate put on professional performances. The 40,000 attending scouts, dressed in raincoats, enjoyed the concert waving their light sticks and cheering.

Capturing nationwide attention, the broadcast of the 'Jamboree K-Pop Concert' on KBS 2TV recorded ratings of 7.9% for part one and 10.9% for part two. KBS World's live-stream on YouTube garnered a peak of 120,000 concurrent viewers and accumulated 915,000 views.

Despite the challenges, the 'Jamboree' concluded with the K-Pop concert. While debates continue, many are relieved that it ended safely.

With the end of the K-Pop concert, all schedules for the '2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree' have been wrapped up. Scouts from various countries are set to depart, with some opting to stay longer in Korea to immerse themselves in local cultural experiences.
