Secret Number Set to Drop New Single on the 24th, Aiming to Tame the Late Summer Heat
The group Secret Number is making a return to the music scene this August.
According to a report by Sports Chosun, Secret Number will be releasing a new single on August 24 and will begin their comeback promotions.
This comeback comes roughly 3 months after Secret Number's release of their sixth single '독사' (translated as "Poison") last May. Fans are eagerly anticipating what kind of music and performance the group, known for their speedy comebacks, will showcase.
Most notably, joining the late summer music line-up, the group is expected to offer a refreshing beat to combat this year's lingering heatwaves. There are whispers that the group is currently pouring their heart and soul into the final touches of this single.
Debuting in May 2020, Secret Number has consistently presented distinctive concepts with hits like 'Who Dis?', 'Got That Boom', 'Fire Saturday', 'Doom Chit', and 'Tap'. They've particularly solidified their status as "global concept idols," enjoying immense popularity among international fans.
Their trajectory in the domestic market is also commendably steep. Not only did Secret Number's previous tracks 'Doom Chit' and 'Tap' reach the number one spot on the real-time music charts in Korea, but they also bagged the K-Global Next Leader Award at the '2022 K-Global Heart Dream Awards' held on the 10th. Given this momentum, their upcoming single is anticipated to further underscore their growth.
