TWICE's 'Cheer Up' MV Hits Youtube's 400-Million Mark
The South Korean all-girl K-pop princesses and one of its continent's top group, TWICE, achieved another milestone on the American video-sharing platform, Youtube. The milestone bottles up the music video of their 2016 major hit called 'Cheer Up.'
On one morning of August (Saturday), the female idols' 'Cheer Up' music video has ceremoniously hit the 400-million mark on its sole views, Hellokpop reported.
The nonet, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Momo, Chaeyoung, Dahyun, and Tzuyu, made known the record's music video on April 25, 2016. 'Cheer Up' is the lead track of the group's sophomore extended play entitled 'Page Two.' All nine gals surpassed the 400-million achievement on Youtube after four years and three months since its chart-topping launch.
In a Soompi report, the all-girl ensemble's 'Cheer Up' record hails as their senior music video surpasses the Youtube milestone. Having that said, the milestone follows after the band's 'Likey,' 'TT,' and the most recent 'What is Love?'
The stunning 'Cheer Up' music video, helmed by the video production team Naïve, headlined by Yoo Seung-Woo and Kim Young-Jo. The music video instantly became a hit on Youtube that it earned a total of 400,000 views within thirty minutes upon its release. The number of views went up to one million after a day and seven million two days after.
Recently, TWICE has announced its much-awaited comeback that delighted their beloved fans. The group's home management and record label, JYP Entertainment, did the honor in confirming TWICE's forthcoming album release. Moreover, the newest album will arrive in October.
At the moment, concerning the band's upcoming album, all nine ladies are working their sweats out for the tracks and album content.
Furthermore, the South Korean group will grace this year's Soribada Best K-Music Awards alongside K-pop's significant bands, Red Velvet, Tomorrow X Together, and solo artists like Kang Daniel. The 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards will take place on August 13.
