Threats Against aespa's Winter: SM Entertainment Takes Firm Action with Increased Security
aespa's Winter, a member of the four-piece girl group, has received threats, prompting her agency, SM Entertainment, to take decisive action.
On August 8, SM Entertainment announced, "Yesterday (7th), a post threatening Winter's personal safety was uploaded on a community forum. We immediately filed a complaint with the police against the person who posted the message."
In addition to that, SM said, "We've strengthened our security detail, and with the cooperation of airport police, ensured aespa safely departed today."
That afternoon, aespa left for the U.S. through Incheon International Airport to attend the 'Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival' in Los Angeles, California.
The concerning post has since been removed.

"A post threatening Winter's safety was made on a community forum yesterday.
Upon verifying the post, our company immediately reported the person responsible to the police, asking for swift investigative cooperation.
Additionally, we've enhanced our security measures, ensuring aespa's safe departure today with additional security and assistance from the airport police.
The police, noting multiple recent reports, visited our company building yesterday and today to check on the security and safety conditions.
Our company is committed to doing its utmost to protect the safety of our artists."
