SM's Newest Boy Group RIIZE Set to Debut on September 4 with Their First Single
SM Entertainment's upcoming boy group, RIIZE, is confirmed to make their much-anticipated debut on September 4th.
RIIZE's inaugural single album, 'Get A Guitar', will drop on September 4th. Pre-orders for the album began today (7th) and are available across various online and offline music retailers.
The album, uniquely themed around the time members spent together preparing for their debut, boasts the title track 'Get A Guitar' and a prologue single 'Memories' which will be pre-released on the 21st. The album is set to mark the beginning of RIIZE's signature genre, 'Emotional Pop', hinting at a fresh chapter in music history.
In addition, RIIZE unveiled a 'Real-time Odyssey' timeline designed with guitar chord concepts on their newly launched promotional webpage and official SNS accounts at midnight today. This timeline provides a packed schedule of diverse content related to their album release, signaling an unprecedented debut countdown. It also offers a glimpse into their major activities post-debut, capturing significant attention.
Furthermore, a surprise performance video of 'Siren' was released on the SMTOWN YouTube channel, showcasing the members' intense performances and harmonious synergy. This impactful video has garnered enthusiastic responses from global fans, amplifying the intrigue surrounding the chemistry RIIZE will bring in the future.
The name "RIIZE" is a blend of "Rise", meaning 'to grow', and "Realize". It encapsulates the essence of a team 'growing together and realizing dreams'. The group comprises seven elite members: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton.
