TWICE's Jihyo Unveils Tracklist for Debut Solo Album 'ZONE': Participated in Crafting All Six Songs
TWICE's Jihyo will be showcasing her unique sentiment and presence as a solo artist in her first solo album 'ZONE'.
JYP Entertainment released the tracklist image for Jihyo's first mini-album 'ZONE' on their official SNS channel at midnight on July 31st.
According to the tracklist, Jihyo's first mini-album contains a total of 7 songs, including the title track 'Killin' Me Good', 'Talkin' About It (Feat. 24kGoldn)', 'Closer', 'Wishing On You', 'Don't Wanna Go Back (Duet with Heize)', 'Room', and 'Nightmare'. At the bottom of each song title, a phrase that seems to hint at the mood of the song is written, such as "The meaning of my time that passed, I hope it's beautiful", raising the curiosity of fans.
Through her new album, Jihyo will present the world of music imbued with her innate beauty. She showcased her musicality that she has accumulated meticulously by participating in the creation of all six songs besides the title track 'Killin' Me Good'. In particular, 'Talkin' About It (Feat. 24kGoldn)' and 'Don't Wanna Go Back (Duet with Heize)', tracks which she collaborated with American rapper 24kGoldn, who achieved the 1st place on the American Billboard main chart 'Hot 100', and musician Heize known for her unique sentiment, have garnered attention from music fans around the world. The final song, 'Nightmare', is a track that was previewed at TWICE's fifth world tour 'READY TO BE' solo stage, and its official inclusion in this album has led to cheers from fans (known as ONCE) who were waiting for its release.
The title track 'Killin' Me Good' was written by JYP Entertainment's representative producer Park Jin-young, and features Jihyo's unique character with lyrics that reveal her emotions candidly. Additionally, renowned songwriters Melanie Fontana, Lindgren, and Marcus Lomax from The Monsters & Strangerz, who have worked with global artists like Dua Lipa, Maroon5, and Ava Max, joined in, hinting at the creation of a new hit.
With her activities for her first mini-album 'ZONE', Jihyo aims to capture the hearts of fans worldwide and step up as a solo artist.
Meanwhile, TWICE's second solo debutant Jihyo's debut album 'ZONE' and the title track 'Killin' Me Good' will be released at 1 PM on August 18th (Korean time), and midnight Eastern Standard Time in the US.
