KCON LA 2023 Welcomes Jang Won-young, Rain, and Bang Chan as Show MCs: All Set to Ignite the K-Culture Festival
IVE's Jang Won-young, Rain, and Stray Kids' Bang Chan have been confirmed as the MCs for the 'KCON LA 2023' show.
According to 'KCON LA 2023' on the 28th, Jang Won-young, Rain, and Bang Chan have been selected as the MCs for the upcoming show.
Jang Won-young will kick off the first day of the 'KCON LA 2023' show, opening the grand curtain of the K-culture festival. Jang's group, IVE, is a representative fourth-generation girl group making waves globally, having entered the U.S. Billboard charts for seven consecutive weeks with 'I AM' and 'Kitsch'.
Rain, the 'original world star', has been selected as the MC for the second day of the show. Participating as a special lineup artist for this KCON, Rain, a top-tier domestic artist, will prove his worth by illuminating 'KCON LA 2023'. His seasoned show hosting skills and charisma are expected to further enhance the symbolism of the performance.
Taking over the show on the final day is Bang Chan, the leader of the group Stray Kids. Stray Kids have been setting new records, breaking the highest pre-order amount ever in K-POP history with their 3rd full album '5-STAR'. Bang Chan, leading the globally trending K-POP band Stray Kids, is under the spotlight for his role.
In addition to the legendary MC lineup, KCON promises a richer show than ever before. The event anticipates offering various special stages to entertain the audience.
In 'Hi My First', a stage organized by artists making their first appearance at KCON, ATEEZ and Stray Kids will join forces. They aim to provide a stage that stimulates fans' memories and allows them to reflect on their initial intentions. This stage, exclusive to 'KCON LA 2023', is increasing anticipation.
NCT U(Taeyong X Ten), ENHYPEN, Kep1er, XG, CIX, JO1, and THE BOYZ are also contributing to the expansion of the K-culture area with their special stages of unmatched scale. The commonality among these groups is their brilliant performances and explosive stage control, contributing to the increasing influence of K-POP. Attention is focused on the special stage that these active groups at home and abroad have prepared just for 'KCON LA 2023'.
'KCON LA 2023' will be held for three days from August 18th to the 20th at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center. ATEEZ, CRAVITY, EVERGLOW, (G)I-DLE, INI, ITZY, IVE, JO1, Kep1er, Lafillus, ENHYPEN, Rain, MONSTA X Shownu X Hyungwon, Stray Kids, Taemin, Taeyong, THE BOYZ, WayV, XG, CIX, and Zero Base One, a total of 21 teams, are scheduled to take the show stage.
