BTS Jungkook Dazzles on BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' With Debut Solo Single 'Seven' and an Oasis Cover
Jungkook of the globally celebrated band BTS painted a remarkable picture on BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' with his flawless live performances.
Jungkook made an appearance on the 'Live Lounge' on the 20th, according to local time in the UK. Making a comeback to the program after almost two years since BTS's last appearance in 2021, Jungkook presented his debut solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and a cover song performance.
Introduced by the host as a "Global pop star", Jungkook expressed his delight at reappearing on the show. He then performed live versions of 'Seven' and a cover of the British rock band Oasis' 'Let There Be Love'.
During his interview with the host, Jungkook didn't hold back his joy about his solo track 'Seven', saying, "I've been waiting to meet my fans with good music, and finally, here it is." When asked about his memories in the UK, he charmingly responded, "My last memory was of the BTS Wembley Concert. While the memory of that time is good, this is a new 'best moment'," winning applause.
Wrapping up by expressing his gratitude and love towards his fans, Jungkook gave a glimpse into BTS's recent activities. Responding to the host's query, he mentioned, "Each member is showcasing their individuality and colors through solo activities, and we're continuously growing. The synergy when we gather as BTS next time, based on this, will be outstanding and unique. I can't wait to see this soon."
Meanwhile, 'Seven' claimed the top spot on Mnet's 'M Countdown' broadcasted on the 20th. Furthermore, the song maintained its top spot on Spotify's latest chart (as of 19th), with daily streaming numbers surpassing 11.84 million, marking its 6th consecutive day as the 'Daily Top Song Global'. It also broke the 100 million streaming milestone just six days after its release.
