Up10tion's Lee Dong-yeol and Lee Hwan-hee to Form Unit, Sign with PA Entertainment
Up10tion's Lee Dong-yeol and Lee Hwan-hee are set to form a unit and sign with PA Entertainment.
The two idols, who appeared on Mnet's survival show "Boys Planet," have signed an exclusive contract with PA Entertainment. The agency said, "We believe in Lee Dong-yeol's limitless potential and will provide him with all the support he needs to expand his career as a singer and actor."
Lee Dong-yeol has chosen PA Entertainment, where his former Up10tion member Lee Hwan-hee is also signed, to focus on his activities as a singer and actor. He is also preparing for a unit activity with Lee Hwan-hee through overseas activities in the future.
Lee Dong-yeol, who plans to focus on solo activities this year, has decided to change his stage name from Xiao to his real name, Lee Dong-yeol. He will kick off his activities with an Asia fan meeting tour in September, visiting Taiwan, Japan, and Indonesia. He will first hold a fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan on September 2 and 3, and will release a pre-released track and meet fans with a full setlist.
Lee Dong-yeol has also been cast as the lead male role in a domestic musical. He is planning to be active in both acting and music in October, and is also planning to release a solo album by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, PA Entertainment, which has signed an exclusive contract with Lee Dong-yeol, also has Lee Hwan-hee, Baek Gi-seong, Jeong Mo, and Park Si-hwan.
