Actress Ha Na Kyung, known as So Hye-ri, has lost a lawsuit brought against her for damages related to an extramarital affair.

On July 18, OSEN reported that the Busan District Court Eastern Branch Civil Case 6th Department had ruled in a lawsuit, brought against Ha Na Kyung by a plaintiff identified as "A," that Hana Gyeong should pay 15 million won (approximately $13,000) to "A."

According to the report, "A's" husband, identified as "B," first met Ha Na Kyung at an entertainment establishment in Busan in December 2021. The two started dating in January 2022 and, following a trip to Vietnam in April, Ha Na Kyung became pregnant with "B's" child.

"B" planned to divorce "A" and marry Ha Na Kyung before emigrating to Vietnam, but "A" refused the divorce. Consequently, "B" stopped pressing for divorce, and Ha Na Kyung revealed her relationship and pregnancy with "B" to "A."

Ha Na Kyung claimed that she found out that "B" was a married man in April 2022. It was reported that after her relationship with "B" turned sour, Ha Na Kyung underwent an abortion.

In her plea, Ha Na Kyung stated, "I told 'A' all the facts in order to sever ties with 'B,' even if that meant I would have to raise the child alone. 'A' would not have known about 'B's' true character if it weren't for me, yet she turned the tables on me, making me, the victim, into the perpetrator." She argued that "B's" lies, along with the trauma of pregnancy and abortion, caused her significant psychological and physical harm, and "it's unfair that 'A' is causing me further distress and demanding financial compensation."

In an interview with OSEN, "A" revealed her reasons for filing the lawsuit: "Ha Na Kyung's side sent me ultrasound pictures of the baby and messages between her and my husband. As I kept silent, Ha Na Kyung became increasingly aggressive, resorting to unspeakable words. I decided to sue as I couldn't tolerate it any longer."

Currently, "A" and her husband are living apart.

Meanwhile, Ha Na Kyung, who made her debut in the MBC drama 'Byeolsoon Geom' in 2005, has appeared in 'President,' 'Shinki Saengdan,' and others. She garnered attention for her daring exposure in the movie 'House with a Good View' and for her revealing dress at the 2012 Blue Dragon Film Awards. She is currently active under the name So Hye-ri on PandaTV.
