Singer Baek Yerin Tests Positive for COVID-19, Forced to Withdraw from New York Performance
Singer Baek Yerin has tested positive for COVID-19.
On the 18th, the Korean Cultural Center New York stated, "We regret to announce that Baek Yerin's performance scheduled for the 20th has been cancelled due to a COVID-19 positive case among the performers."
Baek Yerin also confirmed her COVID-19 positive status that day, saying, "To all the fans who planned to come see me, I am truly sorry. I received a positive COVID-19 test result in the evening."
She added, "I wanted to show you my best, but I am unable to sing and can't make it. I know you've been waiting, and I'm truly sorry. Please take care of your health, and I promise to see you soon. Thank you so much for your beautiful words of concern and encouragement."
Previously, Baek Yerin was scheduled to perform at the 'K-Indie Music Night' at the Lincoln Center Damrosch Park in New York on the 20th, but she had to withdraw.
