BTS member Jungkook has made a worldwide impact with his first solo single.

Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. Litto)', simultaneously released worldwide at 1 p.m. on the 14th (KST), achieved No. 1 on the iTunes 'Top Songs' charts in 106 countries/regions, including the U.S., UK, Canada, Germany, and France, as of 9 a.m. on the 15th.

The clean version and instrumental version of 'Seven' also released simultaneously, successfully lined up at the 2nd and 3rd spots on the iTunes 'Top Songs' charts in various countries/regions. Jungkook's previously released self-composed songs 'Still With You' and 'My You' were also ranked high on the charts.

'Seven' also stood out remarkably on the domestic charts. It topped the TOP100 (based on the 15th, 0 a.m.) on Melon, the largest music site in Korea, and also rose to No. 1 on real-time charts on Genie and Bugs.

The interest in the music video for 'Seven' is also heated. The music video quickly climbed to the top of the YouTube popular trending video charts in various countries/regions immediately after its release. Approximately four hours after its release, it broke through 10 million views and surpassed 32.71 million views as of 9 a.m. on the 15th.

'Seven' is a passionate serenade with lyrics expressing the desire to spend a whole week with a loved one. The track blends an addictive melody with acoustic guitar and the rhythm of the 'UK garage' genre, an electronic music genre that emerged in the UK in the early 1990s.

On the 14th, Jungkook made his first appearance in the GMA's '2023 Summer Concert Series' held at Central Park in New York, where he premiered the stage for 'Seven' and officially launched his solo activities.
