BTS Jungkook Takes the Global Stage by Storm, 'Still With You' Tops iTunes Charts in 89 Countries
BTS's Jungkook's self-composed song 'Still With You' is in the midst of a global sweep on iTunes. 'Still With You,' released on July 3rd by Jungkook, topped the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts on July 5th.
'Still With You' also claimed the number one spot on the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts on July 3rd and 4th, demonstrating potent music power by holding the top spot for three consecutive days.
Another self-composed song by Jungkook, 'My You,' released on July 3rd, proved its popularity by ranking second in the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts for two days in a row, following 'Still With You.'
As of July 5th (Korean time), 'Still With You' continues its global popularity streak, achieving number one on the iTunes Top Song Charts in 89 countries (regions).
'Still With You' and 'My You' have made their first entries into the Spotify Global Daily Chart at 15th and 51st places, respectively, on the world's largest music streaming platform.
Also, 'Still With You' achieved its highest ranking in real-time charts on July 5th at 00:00 (Korean time), including 24th on Melon, 8th on Bugs, 31st on Genie, and 58th on Flo.
Furthermore, 'Still With You' and 'My You' were ranked first and second in the most popular songs and the most liked songs on Melon's Hot Track Search, showing the heated popularity and interest of domestic listeners.
'Still With You' was already released for free on the global music sharing platform SoundCloud in 2020. Considering the countless requests for an official release on music sites from countless music fans over three years, it is causing a retroactive popularity craze in Korea and other countries around the world.
'Still With You' was selected as the number one in two categories in the '2020 PLAY BACK' year-end summary on SoundCloud, less than six months after its free release. It won the 'BUZZIEST DROP' (Most Popular Debut Song) and 'LONGEST REIGN' (Longest Reigning Number 1) awards.
Meanwhile, Jungkook will officially start his first solo activities by releasing the music and music video of his new digital single 'Seven' at 1 pm on the 14th. In the lead-up to this, the concept photo and short film of 'Seven' will be unveiled on the 7th, the Behind-The-Scenes film on the 8th, and the recording film preview video on the 11th.
