BTS 'Take Two' Dominates Billboard Global Chart for 3 Consecutive Weeks
The group BTS continues to enjoy popularity on the U.S. Billboard Global Chart. According to the latest chart (dated July 8th) announced by the U.S. music magazine Billboard on July 5th (local time), the digital single 'Take Two,' released on the 9th of last month to commemorate the 10th anniversary of BTS's debut, entered the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart at 32 and the 'Global 200' at 58, marking its third consecutive week on the charts.
In the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, 'Take Two' secured the 5th position while 'Yet To Come,' released in June last year, reentered at the 6th position.
Not only are BTS's group songs popular, but the members' individual activities are also consistently gaining popularity. Jimin's first solo album 'FACE' ranked 10th on the 'World Albums' chart, 46th on the 'Top Current Albums' chart, and 76th on the 'Top Album Sales' chart. The title track 'Like Crazy' topped the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart and reentered the 'Digital Song Sales' chart at number 4. Furthermore, the song also ranked 33rd on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' and 45th on the 'Global 200' chart, marking its 14th consecutive week on both charts.
The 'Fast & Furious: Ride or Die' movie soundtrack 'Angel Pt. 1 (Feat. Jimin of BTS, JVKE & Muni Long / FAST X Soundtrack)' which features Jimin, ranked 35th on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' and 54th on the 'Global 200' chart.
Meanwhile, Suga's solo album 'D-DAY' rose to 13th on the 'World Albums' chart, 32nd on the 'Top Current Albums' chart, and 42nd on the 'Top Album Sales' chart.
