UP10TION Reveals Exciting News About Their Upcoming Comeback Single
Several publications have reported that UP10TION is gearing up for their comeback in months with an upcoming album.
On August 6, UP10TION uploaded a teaser photo of a gem with a pink backdrop with the group's schedule written on the poster and a caption saying, "Get ready for UP10TION." According to the boyband's schedule, they will have an album pre-talk, followed by a behind the scenes recording and dance practice. Then, UP10TION will be unveiling their jacket, which will be merchandise for the fans.
It was announced back in May that UP10TION is preparing for a summer comeback album with only its seven members, namely Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyoul, Gyujin, Hawnhee, And Xiao. An unconfirmed report by SpoTV News on August 6 said that their comeback would be in September.
UP10TION members Kim Woo Seok and Lee Jin Hyuk are focusing on their solo careers at the moment. Meanwhile, the group's leader Jinhoo has been in hiatus from promotions earlier this year in April due to health issues.
UP10TION, pronounce "up tension" is an acronym for Perfect Unbelievable 10 Teenagers Idol Open Now and is formed by TOP Media back in 2015. The group debuted with an extended play, 'Top Secret,' then in 2017, they made their Japanese debut with their EP 'ID.'
In July 2015, UP10TION made its official debut by introducing each member one by one, through their show 'Masked Rookie King.' Each member of the group showed their talents in front of a panel of judges while wearing masks.
On September 9, UP10TION held a debut showcase at AX Concert Hall in Seoul, and on September 11, the group released its mini-album called 'Top Secret' with the debut single 'So Dangerous.' The album debuted at number 9 and peaked at number 7 on the Gaon Album Chart. The boyband officially debuted their music program on September 10 through Mnet's 'M! Countdown.'
