Who Will Be HIVE's Next Girl Group? The Survival Show 'R U Next?' Premieres on Friday
The JTBC survival program 'R U Next?' aimed at selecting members for the next girl group under HIVE Labels finally premieres tonight at 8:50 pm.
In the first episode of 'R U Next?' (produced by Studio Zem/Mushroom Company), the participants will perform their first stage in front of MC Choi Soo-young and the coaching team. They will conduct a 'tryout' to prove their skills, showcasing their overflowing talent and charm.
The production team said, "High-quality performances from participants who receive high praise from the coaching team will continue, and the final number of debut members and the evaluation method will be revealed."
Global music fans are eagerly awaiting 'R U Next?'. The cumulative views of the participant profile videos uploaded to the official 'R U Next?' TikTok account on the 17th and 18th exceeded 17 million views. Also, the dance challenge video for the theme song 'At Full Speed' is gaining popularity due to its easy-to-follow point choreography.
'R U Next?' is a program that determines the final members of the next global girl group of HIVE and CJ ENM JV Belift Lab. Twenty-two trainees under Belift Lab will participate in the survival show, passing through seven stages to prove their potential and star quality. To rise as 'global K-pop stars', the participants will sometimes engage in fierce competition and sometimes unite, writing their unique growth stories.
Meanwhile, 'R U Next?' co-produced by Belift Lab, Studio Zem, and Mushroom Company, will be globally broadcasted via JTBC, Japan's Abema, and HIVE Labels' YouTube channel. It can also be rewatched on platforms such as Netflix and Wave in Korea.
