T.O.P of BigBang Reunites with the Public in 'Squid Game 2' amid Previous Drug Controversy
Former BigBang member Choi Seung-hyun, also known as T.O.P, is set to rejoin the public eye through the Netflix original series 'Squid Game 2.'
On the 29th, Netflix posted a message on its official channel stating, "The game restarts. With new faces" along with a photo.
The released photo includes Park Gyu-young, Park Ae-shim, Lee Da-wit, Lee Jin-wook, Won Ji-an, Jo Yu-ri, No Jae-won, and Choi Seung-hyun, which draws attention.
Netizens who saw this reacted with comments such as "T.O.P is sprinkled into the finished Squid Game," and "Is this a return as an actor after leaving BigBang?".
Meanwhile, Choi Seung-hyun, who debuted as a group 'BigBang,' was sentenced to a 10-month suspended sentence for two years in 2016 on charges of smoking marijuana at home while serving as a military police officer. Afterwards, he announced his departure from 'BigBang' after his contract with his original agency, YG Entertainment, ended.
'Squid Game 2' had previously announced the participation of male actors including Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul. During this process, it was pointed out by foreign fans that there was a lack of female actors.
