The group WEi is set to heat up the summer with their comeback title track 'Overdrive,' which has gathered attention due to its high-profile producer lineup.

WEi (Jang Dae Hyeon, Kim Dong Han, Yoo Yong Ha, Kim Yo Han, Kang Seok Hwa, Kim Jun Seo) held their 2023 showcase 'Eternal Sunshine' to commemorate the release of their 6th mini-album 'Love Pt.3: Eternally' at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 28th.

The sixth mini-album 'Love Pt.3: Eternally,' which concludes WEi's 'Love' trilogy series, is an album that encapsulates the story of 'everlasting love.' The five tracks of the album, expressing the emotion of love that everyone experiences at least once, contain various thoughts and messages unique to WEi.

The title track 'Overdrive' gained much attention even before the album's release due to the participation of renowned producers. The creative team includes BTS' RM who wrote and composed 'Still Life,' Ninos Hanna who participated in composing NCT DREAM's 'Hot Sauce,' Le Serafim's songwriter and composer for 'ANTIFRAGILE,' Ronni Icon who wrote lyrics for Enhypen's 'Blessed-Cursed,' and team HIGHBIRD, who produced 'Over Me' for Overdose team in Mnet's 'Boys Planet.'

Adding to the credibility of the lineup, Jang Dae Hyeon, a member of WEi with production capabilities, participated in the production of this song, completing it with a distinctive musical color unique to WEi.

Jang Dae Hyeon has revealed his musical capabilities through the title track 'FEEL GOOD' of his solo album in 2019, which he participated in writing. Since then, he has further established WEi's musical color by working as a producer for 'More or Less,' 'Gift for You,' 'Blossom,' alongside his activities with WEi.

During the introduction of 'Overdrive,' the members shouted with pride, "BTS, NCT DREAM, Le Serafim, and Jang Dae Hyeon participated. It is a compilation of K-pop hitmakers, and Jang Dae Hyeon was also involved."

Jang Dae Hyeon expressed, with a smile amid the cheers of the members, "It was a good time to work with great songwriters. I learned a lot through the production process and heard many good stories that boosted my confidence."

He added, "'Overdrive' is a song that allows us to smile together when singing on stage. That's when I feel the best," revealing his satisfaction with 'Overdrive.'

In addition to this, the expectation for the comeback is heightened as many renowned songwriters have participated in this album. 'Be Alright (chillin')' includes participation from MosPick who has a long-standing relationship with WEi, and 'Thriller' was written and composed by producing team CIELOGROOVE and JOOAN, a member of the group TAN.

'All Day With You' was composed by singer and music producer Ra.D, famous for 'I'm in Love,' and produced by the team MonoTree. BTOB's Lim Hyun Sik took charge of the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of 'End of The Day.' These well-crafted five songs included in the album demonstrate WEi's broad musical spectrum.

Meanwhile, WEi's sixth mini-album 'Love Pt.3: Eternally' will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 29th.
