IVE's 'I AM' Hits 100 Million Streams on Spotify, Showcasing Global Popularity
IVE has once again proven their global popularity.
As of June 27, the title track 'I AM' from IVE's first regular album 'I've IVE,' which was released on April 10th, has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
With this, IVE now holds four songs, including their debut song 'ELEVEN,' 'LOVE DIVE,' and 'After LIKE,' that have surpassed 100 million streams.
Currently, 'ELEVEN,' 'LOVE DIVE,' and 'After LIKE' have recorded over 200 million streams on Spotify, and 'Kitsch,' the double title song from the regular album, has also recorded more than 69.16 million streams, bringing the total cumulative play count for the five title songs released so far to 906.268 million as of the 28th.
Despite the official activities for the regular album being over, IVE continues to receive steady love and is enjoying long-run popularity on both domestic key music charts and global charts with their double title songs 'I AM' and 'Kitsch.' Especially, 'I AM' achieved a triple crown by ranking first on SBS 'Inkigayo' for two consecutive weeks on the 25th. With this, IVE has achieved a total of 11 crowns, with 9 from 'I AM' and 2 from 'Kitsch.'
According to the latest chart (dated July 1st) announced by the American music media Billboard on the 27th, IVE's 'I AM' succeeded in entering the 'Billboard Global 200' chart for the 11th consecutive week at 57th place, while on the 'Billboard Global Excl. U.S.' chart, 'I AM' was at 26th place and 'Kitsch,' which has been on the chart for 13 weeks, ranked 116th.
