ZEROBASEONE Selected as the First Rising Star of Melon's Hi-RiSiNG Project, Anticipation Soars
The group ZEROBASEONE is stepping up as the first act for the music platform Melon's "Hi-RiSiNG" project.
ZEROBASEONE, consisting of members Sung Han Bin, Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Kyu Bin, Park Gun Wook, and Han Yu Jin, will be debuting on July 10th. They have been chosen as the first protagonists of Hi-RiSiNG, a project that systematically highlights various aspects of rookie artists in stages.
Starting on June 28 (local time), ZEROBASONE will exclusively release images and videos related to their first mini-album, "YOUTH IN THE SHADE," along with greetings for Melon's 20th anniversary every week through Hi-RiSiNG. As Hi-RiSiNG is a project conducted across Melon's app main screen, short-form service 'Today's Short Music,' and various social media channels, this content is anticipated to be a special gift for global fans eagerly awaiting the group's debut.
ZEROBASEONE is also increasing expectations for their debut by hinting at diverse activities beyond Hi-RiSiNG. The nine members have created a buzz with the release of concept photos for the YOUTH version, shining brightly with their visuals. In particular, they are showcasing close-knit chemistry through their first standalone reality show on Mnet, "Camp Zero Base One." Furthermore, they are scheduled to show off their unique entertainment skills by appearing in full force on the cable channel tvN's "Amazing Saturday," set to air in July.
ZEROBASEONE will release their debut album, "YOUTH IN THE SHADE," on July 10. They broke the record for the highest pre-order volume for a K-pop group's debut album, recording approximately 780,000 pre-orders within just five days of reservation sales.
