MAMAMOO's Hwasa Ends Exclusive Contract with RBW: Promises Continued Support for Independent and Collective Activities
Hwasa of girl group MAMAMOO has parted ways with her long-time agency, RBW.
On June 27th, RBW announced, "We would like to inform you that Hwasa, who has been with us for a long time, has recently ended her exclusive contract."
Adding to this, they said, "After careful discussion with Hwasa, we have mutually agreed to put a beautiful end to our journey together. We will continue to provide unwavering support so that she can spread her MAMAMOO-like stride both independently and collectively, alongside the MOOMOOs [MAMAMOO's fanbase]."
They also took a moment to express gratitude to Hwasa, saying, "We sincerely thank Hwasa, who has shared the good times and the bad with our company for a considerable period of time. We ask for your continued support and encouragement for Hwasa, who will continue to be active in various fields."
Hwasa, who debuted with MAMAMOO in 2014, has received love for numerous hit songs such as 'Um Oh Ah Yeh,' 'Mr. Ambiguous,' 'Dingga,' and 'You're the Best.' As a solo artist, she has also solidified her place in the music industry with successful songs such as 'Maria' and 'Twit.'
