SEVENTEEN Sweeps Hanteo Chart with Re-released Out-of-Print Albums: A Unique 'Line-Up' Achievement
The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has achieved an unusual feat on the Hanteo Chart with their re-released old albums.
According to the album sales tally site Hanteo Chart on the 27th, SEVENTEEN's out-of-print albums swept the upper ranks from the 3rd to 10th positions on the daily physical album chart (dated June 26), along with the 1st place. Their 2nd full album 'TEEN, AGE', released in November 2017, went straight to number 1 on the chart on the day of re-release, followed sequentially by the 4th mini album 'Al1' in 3rd place, 10th mini album 'FML', 1st full album repackage 'Love&Letter', 3rd mini album 'Going Seventeen', 1st full album 'FIRST 'LOVE&LETTER'', special album 'DIRECTOR'S CUT', 2nd mini album 'BOYS BE', and 1st mini album '17 CARAT'.
Of the albums that swept the upper ranks of the chart, all eight albums except the 10th mini album 'FML' were re-released on the 26th. SEVENTEEN, in their 9th year since debut, has made an unprecedented achievement by positioning all of their re-released out-of-print albums in the upper ranks of the Hanteo Chart's daily physical album chart, proving their strong album power.
SEVENTEEN has recently become the only artist to exceed 3 million sales on the first day of release globally with their 10th mini album 'FML', which also entered the 'Billboard 200' chart (dated May 13) at SEVENTEEN's personal best of 2nd place and stayed on the chart for seven consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to host 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO SEOUL' for two days at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 21-22.
