INFINITE's Kim Sung Kyu Successfully Wraps Up First Solo Concert '[LV]' in Hong Kong
Singer Kim Sung Kyu has created delightful memories with his fans at his first solo concert in Hong Kong.
On the afternoon of June 20 at 8 PM local time, Kim Sung Kyu held his solo concert '[LV]' at the Hong Kong Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre Star Hall, meeting his global fans.
According to his agency, Double H T Ent, the title of the concert, '[LV],' is an abbreviation of 'LIKE YOUR VIBES,' containing the double meaning of 'I like your vibe' and 'like your vibe.' This concert marked Kim Sung Kyu's first solo concert in Hong Kong, and it was met with a fervent response from local fans.
Kim Sung Kyu kicked off Hong Kong's '[LV]' by sequentially performing songs from his third mini-album, released in 2020, including 'Climax,' the ending song for the '[LV]' held last April, '41 Days,' 'DIVIN',' and 'Shine.'
Kim Sung Kyu greeted the audience in the local language, saying, "Nice to meet you," and added, "This is my first concert in Hong Kong as a solo artist. Thank you for coming to my show."
He performed 'City of Angels,' 'Alive,' 'Mirror,' 'Fade,' 'Till Sunrise,' 'Sorry,' '60 Seconds,' 'Sentimental,' 'Ready To Go,' 'Because,' 'Like a dream,' 'Daydream,' 'Kontrol,' 'Savior,' among others.
Kim Sung Kyu also talked about his new mini-album '2023 S/S Collection,' which is scheduled for release on the 28th, from the stage that day. He said, "I am putting the finishing touches on my comeback preparations. I plan to appear on music broadcasts and variety shows and provide various other content."
In response to the fans' endless encore requests, Kim Sung Kyu returned to the stage and passionately performed additional songs such as 'Attraction,' 'True Love,' 'Fog,' and 'Only You.' He also performed INFINITE's 'Be Mine,' delivering an unprecedented thrill and lingering impression to fans who have been eagerly awaiting INFINITE.
Through Double H T Ent, Kim Sung Kyu said, "It was my first solo concert in Hong Kong, and it was so much fun. I thank all the fans who came to the show, and thanks to you, I was able to finish the show in a lively and enjoyable way. I want to come to Hong Kong again and perform next time."
Meanwhile, Kim Sung Kyu will release his fifth mini-album '2023 S/S Collection' through various music sites at 6 PM on the 28th.
