NU'EST's Aron Shares How He Adopted Kotsooni + JR Praised For Considering Proper Timing Of Adopting Dogs
NU'EST's JR and Aron made an appearance on KBS' variety show Dogs are Incredible. The duo became instant trainers for the day as Aron shows his adopted dog Kkotsooni.
KBS' Dogs are Incredible features the dogs of celebrity guests and introduce them to the public and have the chance to work with dog trainer Kang Hyung Wook.
Kkotsooni, a six-year-old Shiba Inu mixed dog, was brought by Aron on the show. The actor revealed that Kkotsooni had lived in a parking lot since she was a puppy and said that the building owner was raising Kkotsooni's parents.
Aron expressed that the owner abandoned her on the parking lot because they said she was shedding too much. He then decided to adopt the dog in late 2018 after seeing an adoption notice and a video about her.
Aron was asked why he decided to bring Kkotsooni on the show. He said that aside from the reason that fans are requesting him to do so, he also wanted to know if his dog has a calm personality or feels scared. He expresses that he's been worrying about the tail of her dog, which is always curled down.
Kang Hyung Wook said that Kkotsooni's a bit timid, but it's not anything that could be classified as a problem. Just like people having different personalities, "she just seems like a very timid dog."
JR, on the other hand, was also asked if he has pets. He replied and explained that taking care of a dog is hard, and it's not easy to create a pleasant environment suitable for them. He believes that one should be serious in planning to adopt a dog; that is why he still has no plans.
NU'EST's JR said that if ever he will be given a chance to adopt one, he will choose a Chihuahua. With JR's statement, Kang Hyung Wook praised his attitude and said that people who are good at taking good care of a pet are usually the ones who decide on where to adopt.
At the end of the episode, Aron said that he is honored to have been able to appear on the show that he always enjoyed watching. "I feel like I was able to learn how to understand their actions better. Using what I've learned, I will be doing my best to take good care of Kkotsooni and Noah.
