The Rising Role Rumors A recent wave of unverified stories across various media platforms suggested a potential role for Jennie, a member of the globally famous K-Pop group BLACKPINK, in Marvel's eagerly awaited series, 'Kingdom War - New Agents of Atlas.'
The rumors pointed towards a role offer for Jennie to play Luna Snow, or Seol Hee, in this innovative Marvel Studios venture.
However, a representative from YG Entertainment, Jennie's agency, confirmed to Star News on the 12th, stating, "Jennie has not received any offers to appear in the Marvel series 'Team Agent of Atlas," thereby quashing the ongoing conjecture about her association with Marvel.
YG Entertainment's Refusal of MCU Offer for Jennie A recent revelation by MCU Arabic News suggests that YG Entertainment, the agency representing BLACKPINK's Jennie, turned down an offer from Marvel Studios for her to join the illustrious ranks of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In a noteworthy development, an MCU Arabic News "Insider" took to Twitter revealing that it was YG Entertainment that declined the Marvel Studios' offer for BLACKPINK's Jennie. The insider reported that since September 2021, negotiations had been taking place between Marvel Studios and YG Entertainment regarding the potential casting of Jennie in an upcoming MCU film.
The source stated, "Since September 2021, Marvel Studios has been in talks with YG Entertainment. They remained mum about the issue until April 29, when they finally broke their silence. The statement cited Jennie's crammed schedule, asserting that she is unable to take on multiple projects simultaneously due to her strenuous workload."
