The group Stray Kids has sold out tickets for their third official fan meeting at an astonishing speed.
Stray Kids will be holding their third official fan meeting titled 'Stray Kids 3RD FANMEETING 'PILOT: FOR 5-STAR' over two days, July 1st and 2nd, at the Olympic Park KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. On the second day, there will be simultaneous offline performances and online paid broadcasts via the Beyond LIVE platform, providing a unique experience for both domestic and international fans.
The offline performance tickets, which were made available from 8 pm on the 5th to 11:59 pm for third-generation STAY fan club members, sold out immediately for both days. JYP Entertainment also added extra restricted-view seats at 8 pm on the 7th, and these too sold out quickly, truly showcasing the overwhelming popularity of Stray Kids.
Stray Kids released their third full-length album '5-STAR' and title track 'Special' on June 2nd. This new full-length album, presented nearly two years after their second album 'NOEASY' released in August 2021, has solidified their position as a leading K-pop group by topping several domestic and international charts.
The music video for the title track 'Special' is garnering praise for encapsulating the group's identity with its grand scale and flashy visuals. On its release day, it topped YouTube's worldwide trending music videos and, as of the morning of the 8th, has surpassed 42.42 million views, rapidly marching towards 100 million views. Stray Kids has exceeded 12.8 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel, about 25.45 million followers on their official Instagram account, and approximately 9.6 million followers on Twitter, demonstrating their extraordinary global influence on social media platforms.
JYP Entertainment also increased the popularity heat by releasing three behind-the-scenes photos from the 'Special' music video. The members exude unmatched energy on the set, showcasing a grand-scale shoot. Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. are seen showcasing their unity while wearing sporty outfits, causing many STAYs to swoon over their charismatic expressions in the behind-the-scenes cuts. The eight members drew attention with various stylings, demonstrating their diverse concept appeal.
Meanwhile, as of the 1st, Stray Kids' third regular album recorded 5.13 million pre-orders, setting a new record as 'the highest pre-order in K-pop history'. In 2021, just three years after their debut, they achieved their first million-seller with the regular 2nd album 'NOEASY', and then consecutively with the mini-album 'ODDINARY' in March 2022, and 'MAXIDENT' in October 2022, accomplishing triple million-seller status.
In particular, they became the only artist to achieve consecutive first-place on the US Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200' based on last year's results. With the well-made full-length album '5-STAR', which Stray Kids has put their all into, they are radiating a special presence in the music industry.
