Teen Top's Label Updates Fans On Chunji's Military Enlistment Date
Teen Top's managing label TOP Media announces Chunji's official military enlistment date.
On August 5, the K-pop group's company release its official statement updating the fans Chunji's army enlistment date. "Hello, this is Teen Top's managing label TOP Media. Teen Top's Chunji will be joining the Republic of Korea Army as an active service soldier on August 10." (via Soompi)
The agency said that he is getting ready for his enlistment and will be conducting his last performance on 'Teen Top 10 Live' on August 8. TOP Media calls for the fans' warm encouragement for Chunji to fulfill his army duty in excellent health condition.
ABOUT TEEN TOP
Teen Top is a boy band which was founded in 2010 by TOP Media. The party consists of five individuals, namely C.A.P, Chunji, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo.
A six-piece party initially with L.Joe, appealed for termination of the contract in February 2017. Teen Top was successfully launched on July 9, 2010, with their first hit album 'Come to the World.'
Ricky and Niel, Teen Top participants, have both been young actors. Niel made his debut via the musical, Please, where he acted the character of Joo Won in the younger version. Ricky starred for 'Human Dream' in Seo Taiji's music video and went on to play the youthful figure in the film of Song Seung-Heon in Love Song.
Four of the participants of Teen Top, Changjo, Niel, Cap, and L.Joe, had an open Lotte World audition while the members (Chunji and Ricky) had a private one. Unlike some of the other participants, it cost L.Joe two tryouts before starting training on TOP Media.
Teen Top launched their 8th EP, Seoul Night, on May 8, 2018, The EP comes out in two versions. Teen Top's first stage for this return on M Countdown was performed on May 11, 'Seoul Night' and 'Let's Play.'
Teen Top introduced TEEN TOP STORY: 8PISODE on July 3, 2018, with its opening track 'Lovers.' This is their 8th EP Seoul Night rebrand. Teen Top returned with their ninth EP DEAR, N9NE, with the opening track 'Run Away,' on June 4, 2019.
