A New Solo from TWICE? Mysterious 'Killin' Me Good' Teaser Stirs Intrigue
K-pop sensation TWICE has sparked curiosity by releasing a mysterious piece of content.
At midnight on June 5, JYP Entertainment posted an image on TWICE's official social media channels, captioned 'You're #KillinMeGood August 2023.'
The released image, with its color scheme, composition, and font, bears an uncanny resemblance to a movie poster, adding to the mystique.
The image's inclusion of a hand gripping a steering wheel particularly fueled speculation. Fans from both domestic and international scenes are making numerous guesses about which of the nine members - Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu - is featured, and what the 'Killin' Me Good' promotion might entail.
TWICE, currently stirring up fans' anticipation with this surprise content, continues to solidify their status as a global powerhouse group.
On April 15th and 16th, TWICE spectacularly kicked off their fifth world tour, 'TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE'', at the KSPO DOME in Songpa District, Seoul. They continued to generate excitement with performances in Australia on May 2nd and 3rd (local time), Osaka, Japan on the 13th and 14th, and Tokyo on the 20th and 21st.
The Japan concerts were especially meaningful as TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to perform at a stadium in Japan. Over the course of four sold-out stadium concerts, they attracted approximately 220,000 attendees, further reaffirming their immense global popularity.
After their final Tokyo performance on the 21st, they announced additional performances at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya on December 16th and 17th, and at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 27th and 28th, stirring up a frenzy among their fans.
Building on this momentum, TWICE will embark on their US tour in June. They will be performing at stadium venues for their solo concerts in Los Angeles on the 10th of the coming month and in New York on July 6th.
Thus, TWICE is set to showcase their distinctive presence as 'stadium artists,' having sold out their performances at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and the MetLife Stadium in New York. The world is paying close attention to TWICE's worldwide activities as they expand their tour to 22 global locations with 35 performances, enhancing their stature on the international stage.
