ENHYPEN Clinches No.1 Spot on Oricon's Weekly Album Chart for the Sixth Time in a Row
South Korean boy group ENHYPEN has secured the top spot on the Oricon weekly combined album chart in Japan.
According to the latest chart announced by Oricon on the 2nd (dated June 5th, covering the period from May 22nd to 28th), ENHYPEN's fourth mini-album 'DARK BLOOD' took the pole position on the weekly combined album chart, scoring 169,328 points. This album achieved a second-week chart-topping feat on Oricon, having already topped the weekly album chart announced on May 30th.
With this achievement, ENHYPEN has landed at No.1 on Oricon's weekly combined album chart consecutively for their six albums, starting from their second mini-album 'BORDER: CARNIVAL', their first full-length Japanese album 'Sadame', up to their recent 'DARK BLOOD'. Upon 'DARK BLOOD' securing the No.1 spot, Oricon reported through an article on its official website that ENHYPEN had joined the ranks of artists who've earned the third most No.1 titles on the combined album chart.
'DARK BLOOD' achieved impressive success, turning ENHYPEN into 'million-sellers' by selling over 1.1 million copies on its release day, as per Hanteo Chart standards. It also broke the group's own record for the highest first-week sales, with over 1.32 million copies sold.
ENHYPEN is scheduled to appear on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' broadcast today (2nd).
