BLACKPINK's Jennie Left Surprised as her Pet Dog Kuma Warms up to Kang Hyung Wook on 'BodeumTV'
BLACKPINK's Jennie had a fun encounter with Kang Hyung Wook, alongside her pet dog, Kuma.
On May 26, the YouTube channel 'Kang Hyung Wook's BodeumTV' aired an episode titled "BLACKPINK's Jennie Gets Overshadowed by Kang Hyung Wook and Heads to the Can," as part of 'Kang Hyung Wook's Dog Show.'
Kang Hyung Wook started by asking, "Why are you here?" To this, Jennie replied, "I'm a big fan. I came to show off Kuma. This is one of the YouTube channels I regularly watch." She mentioned that she had seen recent episodes and many others, catching everyone's attention.
Jennie introduced her pet dog, Kuma. Kang Hyung Wook asked, "Is it because of his age that the area around his mouth is white?" To this, Jennie amusingly replied, "No, Kuma has had milk on his mouth since he was young."
"Kuma means bear in Japanese. He looked like a bear when I first saw him. When I take him out, adults often ask if he's a bear or a dog," said Jennie. She further added, despite Kang Hyung Wook suggesting Kuma was an old dog, "He's only 8 or 9 years old. Doesn't he look like a baby?"
When Kang Hyung Wook noted that Kuma was quieter than other Pomeranian dogs, Jennie shared, "He's an angel when I'm holding him, but he goes wild when he sees a man or something like a motorcycle."
Jennie stated, "Kuma always comes to me no matter where we go. Even if I give him a treat, he comes to me. We have a connection." However, Kuma immediately went to Kang Hyung Wook when he called, causing laughter all around. Jennie playfully remarked, "My bragging rights have been stolen," triggering more laughter.
Although Jennie was proud of Kuma, the dog showed little interest, leaving everyone in stitches. A flustered Jennie confessed, "Right now, Kuma is so enthralled with the teacher that he's not listening to a word I say."
Upon seeing Kuma bark, Kang Hyung Wook said, "He's doing that because he's happy. Let him do it more." He then complimented Kuma, saying, "Kuma has a good temperament." Jennie, who had taught Kuma English commands, proudly revealed, "I brought him from abroad and taught him English, but my mom teaches him in Korean. So he's bilingual."
