BTS's Jungkook Opens Up About Impending Military Enlistment During Fan Interaction
BTS's Jungkook revealed his thoughts on his forthcoming military enlistment.
Jungkook engaged with fans on May 25 through a live broadcast on the official fan community platform Weverse. In the midst of the conversation, Jungkook responded to a comment that said, "I love you in the military," with a smile and a nod.
This remark was an ambiguous nod to BTS's fandom, known as 'ARMY'.
Jungkook referenced his fellow band member J-Hope, who is currently serving his military duty, saying, "Our J-Hope just had his completion ceremony. He sent a selfie in our group chat and his eyes looked so mature."
Subsequently, he drew attention when he belted out a military song and said, "Right, I have to go (to the military) too," adding, "I will serve my time impressively."
Jungkook, who currently keeps a long hairstyle, hinted at a change in the future. He said, "When the time comes, I'll cut my hair. I'll gradually trim it short for a 'hair-lighting' effect."
Currently, BTS members Jin and J-Hope are fulfilling their military duties. Suga has been deemed eligible for social service.
