Riding the K-Pop Wave: ENHYPEN, Secret Number, and Dreamcatcher Are Coming in Hot!
Prepare for a colorful K-pop invasion with groups like ENHYPEN, Secret Number, and Dreamcatcher lined up one after another.
ENHYPEN is set to release their fourth mini-album, 'Dark Blood,' on May 22. This album opens their 'Blood' series following the 'Border,' 'Dimension,' and 'Manifesto' series. 'Dark Blood' narrates a tale of a boy prepared to sacrifice himself for his destined counterpart (you). The story serves as a metaphor for the group's feelings of preciousness and gratitude towards their fans, which they've expressed through a dark fantasy narrative.
The album includes six unique songs centered around tales of youthful pride, curse, self-realization, and sacrifice, including the title track 'Bite Me.' The song tells a story of a boy who reunites with his destined counterpart and realizes their fates are interconnected through blood. Heeseung, a member of ENHYPEN, contributed to the recording direction, enhancing the group's distinctive colors.
Secret Number is releasing their sixth single 'Viper' on the 24th, marking their first new track in six months domestically. The album includes the title track 'Viper' and a fan song titled 'Beautiful One' for their fandom, LOCKEY. With the highly polished title track and heartfelt fan song, this new release is anticipated to be a special gift for fans. Their label, Vine Entertainment, advised fans to look forward to Secret Number's upgraded visuals and a fresh concept.
On May 24, Dreamcatcher will release their eighth mini-album, 'Apocalypse: From Earth,' and make a comeback after seven months. Having previously communicated a message about the Earth's crisis through their past title tracks 'Maison' and 'Vision,' they now plan to wrap up their three-part Apocalypse series through the new album. The album explores the full range of human emotions. The title track 'Bon Voyage' - French for 'Have a good trip' - hints at a synergy with Allrounder, the producer who's worked with Dreamcatcher for a long time. Expectations are high for the group's powerful rock-based sound.
