Seventeen Illuminates Osaka's Kyocera Dome: 'Carats Are Our Reason for Existence'
K-pop sensation Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) concluded their fan meeting in Osaka, Japan with resounding success.
Over May 17-18, Seventeen hosted their Japanese fan meeting, 'SEVENTEEN 2023 JAPAN FANMEETING 'LOVE'', at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka. The two-day event attracted a total of 80,000 fans, creating unforgettable memories. The final day of the event, May 18th, was a hybrid affair, featuring both an offline performance and simultaneous online streaming.
Making their appearances at various points throughout the venue in golf carts, Seventeen opened their fan meeting with a Japanese rendition of 'Run to You' and a performance of '_WORLD'. They then told the local fans, "Since the theme of this fan meeting is 'LOVE', we have tried to get closer to you from the very beginning to convey our love to our Carats."
In the following segment, Seventeen engaged their fans by answering trivia questions about themselves and playing various team games. They exhibited a playful sense of humor, providing a diverse array of entertaining spectacles for the fans.
Performances of 'My My', the Japanese version of 'Oh My!', and a special rendition of 'Fight' featuring Vernon, among others, ratcheted up the energy of the fan meeting. They also performed their recently released tracks 'F*ck My Life', 'Fallin' Flower', and 'All my love'.
To close the event, Seventeen expressed, "It's incredible to be able to have a fan meeting in a Japanese Dome, and we're so happy to hear your voices again. We've gained so much energy from our Carats today. We're truly grateful for your constant support from afar and would love for you to join us in our bigger dreams. Carats are our reason for existence." Following their sentiments, they concluded the fan meeting with performances of 'Sing' and 'Campfire'.
Seventeen will continue their 'SEVENTEEN 2023 JAPAN FANMEETING 'LOVE'' by moving to the Tokyo Dome on May 27-28.
