'Space Sweepers' reveals that September 23 will be its schedule to hit theaters in Korea. Now, the much-anticipated film has shared a new trailer with exciting scenes and amazingly assembled effects.

Per TheJakartaPost, 'Space Sweepers' takes place in the year 2092. The outer space is becoming full of garbage and dangerous floating junks, including satellites and spaceships.

The film follows a story of a debris-collecting crew named Victory in their journey to collect wastes, which can be converted into money. However, as they roam on the vast expanse, they discovered "Dorothy"- a weapon for mass destruction, and the whole team got involved in a bad business deal.

A Total Mess

The beginning of the newly released trailer shows the crew of Victory as they compete with other junk collector ships from other nations as they looked for treasures from space garbage.

Kim Tae Ri is playing the role of Victory's young captain Jang Sun Jang. As they found some potentially valuable junk, she said, "Out of the way, you hack. That's mine!"

Though the crew earns a lot of money from grabbing valuable junks due to its fast ship, they have never been stabled due to their debts from the repair cost of their space ship. And as mentioned on the trailer, the crew's teamwork has never been good in cooperation and is a total mess. Jang Sun Jang flips a table as she confronts her crew members, and they get into a fight.

A Discovery

Engineer Tiger Park (Jin Seon Kyu), Pilot Tae Ho, and the ship's harpooning robot (Yoo Hae Jin) opened containers from another vessel they found. Before they opened it, Song Joong Ki said, "Alright, shall we make another money again today?"

The crew was shocked as they discovered a humanoid robot that looks like a child in the cargo, and when they brought it to their ship, they found out in the news that the robot is a deadly weapon.

Thinking about money with the treasure they got, Tae Ho plans to resell the bomb. He tells the crew that they can make a lot of money from the weapon. However, Jang Sun Jang opposed the idea and said that it's not morally right to sell a bomb that can create mass destruction.
