STAYC Ignites 'KCON' with Spectacular Performance
K-pop group STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J) captured the hearts of local fans with an impeccably executed performance at 'KCON JAPAN 2023', held on May 12 at Makuhari Messe in Japan.
Setting the stage on fire, members Isa, Seeun, and Yoon first captivated the audience with their charismatic black styling and a powerful performance that revealed an unexpected twist of charm. They later adorned the opening group stage with Choi Yena, Niziu's Rio, Maya, Rima, Kepler's Hikaru, and Seo Young Eun, perfectly embodying a strong concept.
Continuing the momentum, STAYC kicked off the main event with their February release, "Teddy Bear." They further pumped up the audience with a Japanese version of their hit 'ASAP,' eliciting an enthusiastic response. With their unique teen-fresh charm, STAYC successfully captured the global fandom, setting a lively mood throughout the performance.
Next, STAYC took to the dream stage with their fans, crafting a performance of 'Poppy.' With a collaborative stage that continued the energetic atmosphere of 'KCON JAPAN 2023,' their catchy lyrics and addictive dance moves incited a sing-along from the audience, further intensifying the passionate atmosphere of the concert.
Along with a teaser about their upcoming fan meeting in Japan this July, STAYC said, "Every time we come to Japan, we're greeted warmly, and it always makes for a good stage. We've made a lot of precious memories at this 'KCON,' and it's going to be a night we'll never forget." With their successful performance at 'KCON JAPAN 2023,' STAYC has firmly established their presence as a representative group of the fourth generation of K-pop.
STAYC will meet fans up close at their 2023 solo fan meeting 'SWITH Gelato Factory,' which will take place from the 19th to the 21st of this month at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
