BTS Jungkook's 'Dreamers' has set the record for the fastest Korean solo song to reach 250 million streams, illuminating its status as a 'global hit song.' Jungkook's 'Dreamers', which was released on November 20th last year as the official soundtrack for the '2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup', recently surpassed 250 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
In just 162 days after its release, 'Dreamers' achieved a total of 250,744,402 streams, proving its enduring popularity. In particular, 'Dreamers' demonstrated impressive streaming power by setting the record for the fastest Korean solo song to reach 250 million streams.

As of March this year, it recorded the 'most' streams for a K-pop solo song in 2023 with 100 million, reinforcing its continued popularity. Previously, 'Dreamers' had broken the record for the fastest K-pop solo song to reach 100 million streams in just 35 days, and the fastest Korean solo song to reach 200 million streams in 110 days.
Upon its release, 'Dreamers' set a debut record by entering the Spotify Global Daily Chart at the highest-ever position for an Asian solo artist's song, at number 2.
'Dreamers' has made new history for 'World Cup songs', becoming the 'first' official World Cup soundtrack to top the Billboard's Digital Song Sales Chart in the United States, sweeping the number one spot on the World Digital Song Sales Chart for two consecutive weeks. 'Dreamers' set a new record as the first World Cup song to rank number one on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in over 100 countries/regions on the day of its release, breaking the record for number one in 102 countries/regions in just 13 hours, 103 in two days, and 104 in four days.
'Dreamers' recorded number one on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart for 10 consecutive days after its release, and continues to demonstrate its global music power by staying on the chart for over 115 days. Jungkook conveyed the message of dreams to the world by being the first Korean artist to perform the official soundtrack at the opening ceremony of the '2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup'.
Jungkook left an indelible impression with his powerful stage charisma, fantastic performance, and unparalleled vocal skills, thrilling the audience that filled the stadium.
