Channel A's reality show 'Heart Signal 4' has found itself in the center of controversy even before its official launch, as allegations of a cast member being in a romantic relationship have surfaced.

The issue began when it was claimed that a cast member, who is not a celebrity, was currently in a relationship with her boyfriend.

On the 8th, a post was shared on an online community by user A, stating, "A non-celebrity cast member with a doctor boyfriend is appearing on 'Heart Signal 4', and it breaks the immersion." The user mentioned a specific cast member, claiming, "She was in a public relationship with her doctor boyfriend, who she had been dating for 500 days until February, but deleted her Instagram when the show was about to air."

The user added, "She went on a trip to Japan with her boyfriend and even posted pictures. She even publicly admitted to having a boyfriend in an Instagram Q&A session. Shouldn't she have hidden and managed this better when deciding to appear on the show? I don't understand why she made it public on Instagram."

In response, the production team is currently looking into the matter.

Previously, another female cast member, B, faced allegations of participating in a risqué broadcast in Africa during her minor years.

Every season, issues regarding cast members' personal lives emerge, and the production team had promised a thorough screening process. They emphasized that they had reviewed the cast members' 12-year records from elementary to high school.

Of course, there may be limitations in verifying personal matters such as relationships beforehand. However, starting with controversy could be detrimental to the success of a dating program where viewers' immersion is essential.

Meanwhile, 'Heart Signal 4' is a reality program where young men and women move into the Signal House and develop "something" between them, while a celebrity prediction panel analyzes their emotions. The show is set to premiere on May 17.
