ONEUS 'Comeback D-2': Captivating Charm in 9th Mini Album 'PYGMALION'
The group ONEUS (Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion) has revealed the highlight medley for their new album, showcasing their solid musical capabilities.
At midnight today (May 6, KST), ONEUS posted the highlight medley video of their ninth mini-album 'PYGMALION' on their official SNS. The video includes snippets of five songs, including the title track 'ERASE ME,' 'Intro: LETHE,' 'Unforgettable,' 'ECHO,' and 'Halley's Comet,' along with unreleased photos.
Starting with 'Intro: LETHE,' which expresses the members' delicate yet powerful vocals amidst vulnerability and pain, the album is filled with a wide range of genres that allow listeners to experience the broad musical spectrum of the five members. Other tracks include the rhythmical sound of 'Unforgettable,' the dreamy atmosphere and alluring voices of 'ECHO,' and the refreshing, lyrical tone of 'Halley's Comet,' which captures the fleeting moment of falling in love. Member Leedo participated in the production of 'ECHO,' adding ONEUS' unique color.
The title track 'ERASE ME' is an emo pop genre that mixes orchestra and EDM, featuring impressive lyrics that contrast with the intense sound. ONEUS plans to captivate the music scene with their '42 World' concept, transcending generations by embracing the sentiment of second-generation groups while being a fourth-generation group themselves.
'PYGMALION' is an album that embodies ONEUS' bold ambition to break free from their past image and be reborn, similar to the Pygmalion effect, where expectations and hopes lead to positive outcomes. The title track 'ERASE ME' promises to showcase a polished performance, combining ONEUS' energetic group dance with a sexy and fatal charm.
ONEUS will release their 9th mini-album 'PYGMALION' on various music sites at 6 PM on May 8.
