SEVENTEEN claimed victory over IVE on 'Music Bank.'
On the May 5th broadcast of KBS2's music program 'Music Bank,' SEVENTEEN's 'Son Oh Gong' and IVE's 'I AM' were the contenders for the top spot.
SEVENTEEN emerged as the winners of the day, garnering a total of 13,059 points (1,449 points for digital music sales, 3,638 points for broadcast counts, 7,926 points for album sales, and 46 points for social media). IVE, who did not appear on the broadcast, came in second place with 5,768 points.
Upon receiving the award, SEVENTEEN expressed their gratitude, saying, "First of all, we'd like to thank our Carats (fandom name) so much. We hope that our positive and energetic vibes reached many people around the world. We love you so much, Carats." They added, "Today is Children's Day, and we have a member celebrating a birthday. Happy birthday, Dino."
Meanwhile, other performers on 'Music Bank' included DRIPPIN, EPEX, MustB, NCT's Doyoung, TEMPEST, Xdinary Heroes, xikers, XODIAC, DreamNote, Blitzers, BTOB, ELRIS, and Lee Ah Young.
