'Peak Time' Champions VANNER Ink Management Deal with KLAP, Set for a 'New Leap'
KLAP Entertainment is joining forces with Team 11:00, the final winning team of JTBC's 'Peak Time.'
On May 4 (KST), KLAP Entertainment announced, "We have signed a three-year contract with VANNER, the final winning team of JTBC's 'PEAK TIME,' for album production, promotion, and management agency." With this, they have signaled an ambitious leap by expanding their management business.
The first-place winning group VANNER, consisting of members Taehwan, GON, Hyesung, Ahxian, and Youngkwang, made their debut in February 2019. VANNER, who appeared on JTBC's 'Peak Time' as Team 11:00, gained popularity as the 'official part-time idol' and captured attention with their overwhelming skills, being praised as perfect in all aspects of vocals, dance, rap, live performance, and teamwork from the early stages of the show.
In particular, VANNER set a record as the only participating team in 'Peak Time' to receive three consecutive all-pick selections from the judges, generating buzz. From May 5th to 7th, they will hold the 'Peak Time' TOP6 concert 'YOUR TIME' at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul, showcasing a spectacular stage.
Meanwhile, KLAP Entertainment (formerly KLAP) launched in July 2020 as a content production company for the global fandom platform 'UNIVERSE.' This year, the company changed its name to KLAP Entertainment and begins its full-fledged management business. In the future, they plan to transition into a comprehensive entertainment company beyond K-pop, including global new businesses, by securing unique IP.
