Previously, MOMOLAND made a contribution to support those who need feminine personal hygiene products.

On July 31, MLD Entertainment announced that MOMOLAND toured Good Neighbors and provided 1,500 packages of natural feminine health items to households with low incomes on July 30. Good Neighbors, a non-profit international humanitarian development organization, was established in Korea in 1991.

"We hope that this contribution will benefit these growing children at least a little. We do want to communicate to those who are facing serious hardships our sense of support and assistance. The non-profit organization's marketing team's general manager conveyed his gratitude for the girl band MOMOLAND for their generous donation for households with low-income capacities.

The general manager vowed that their organization would strive to continue supporting the healthy growth of young women teenagers from a low-income household with not only providing needs for their feminine needs but to the extent of professional counseling treatment and mentoring as well.

ABOUT MOMOLAND AND ITS MEMBERS

MOMOLAND is a girl band founded by MLD Entertainment (used to be known as Duble Kick Company) via the 2016 television show 'Finding Momoland.'

The program winners automatically became the seven members of MOMOLAND - Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. They made an appearance in November 2016 as a full-member band with the EP 'Welcome to Momoland.'

Two recruits, Daisy and Taeha, were introduced as part of MOMOLAND in 2017. In 2019, Taeha and Yeonwoo quit the group. Meanwhile, Daisy left the band this 2020.

In January 2020, Daisy gave a speech in which she said that 'Finding Momoland' had been compromised and the competition skewed votes. After she was eliminated back then, they called her to advise her not to worry as there was an alleged "plan."

She argued that, even after her health problems came to an end, she was not allowed to promote as per the company's orders. Instead, she was only entitled to cancel her contract by paying 1.1 Billion won (approx 942,866,65 US dollars) as a penalty.

As a reply, MLD Entertainment put out a statement denouncing all accusations and confirmed that they would lodge legal complaints against the idol and her mother.
